These terms govern your use of ScanWize. If you use the service, you agree to use it responsibly and to verify important actions through official channels.
Who Provides The Service
ScanWize is provided by PromptSlashers, Elisabeth Willemslaan 26, 3150 Wespelaar, Belgium. VAT: BE 0745.494.290.
What ScanWize Does
ScanWize helps explain documents in plain language and highlight possible risk signals, including suspicious payment requests, URLs, QR codes, IBANs, deadlines and sender mismatches.
The service is a support tool. It does not replace legal, financial, tax, government, medical or professional advice.
Your Responsibilities
- Only upload documents you are allowed to process and share for analysis.
- Do not upload illegal content, malware, stolen documents or documents belonging to another person without a valid reason.
- Before paying money, sharing sensitive data, signing anything or ignoring a deadline, verify through the official sender website, app, phone number or public authority channel.
- Keep your account credentials secure if account features are enabled.
AI Output And Verification
AI analysis may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. ScanWize will try to distinguish verified, unknown and suspicious signals, but no automated result is a guarantee that a document is legitimate or fraudulent.
If a result marks a payment, link, QR code or sender as uncertain, you should treat that as a prompt to verify manually before acting.
Plans, Payments And Availability
Free and paid-plan features may change while ScanWize is being built. Paid plans, archive storage and subscription management will be governed by the checkout terms shown at the time of purchase once Stripe billing is enabled.
We may suspend or limit access to protect the service, users or third parties from abuse, technical risk or unlawful activity.
Intellectual Property
ScanWize and its website content, interface and product materials are owned by PromptSlashers unless stated otherwise. You keep your rights in documents you upload.
Liability
ScanWize is provided with reasonable care, but it cannot guarantee uninterrupted service, perfect detection or error-free explanations. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be limited under Belgian or EU consumer law.
Governing Law
Belgian law applies to these terms, without limiting mandatory consumer protections that may apply in your country of residence. Disputes should first be raised with PromptSlashers so they can be handled practically.
