Service Scope
- ScanWize helps users understand documents and detect possible scam signals in payment requests, links, QR codes, IBANs and sender details.
- ScanWize is not a government authority, telecom provider, bank, insurer, municipality, court, collection agency or legal adviser.
- AI output can be incomplete or wrong. Before paying, signing, sharing personal data or missing a deadline, verify through official sender channels.
EU Data And GDPR Controls
Live document analysis is guarded in the backend and remains disabled until the EU data region is explicitly configured. The intended production data layer is EU-hosted database/storage, deletion by default for non-archived scans, consent records for optional processing, and GDPR rights handling.
Cloudflare hosting and third-party API processors are assessed as processors or subprocessors. If a provider cannot be configured to meet the required data protection controls for a live document flow, that feature should remain disabled.
